Dom-Ino House

Le Corbusier's Dom-Ino House is one of the many marvelous things I discovered while reading Hassan-Uddin Khan's book International Style: Modern Architecture 1925-1965. Corbu created this concept in 1914 as a prototype for mass-produced concrete housing and was later implemented in his later work, as illustrated in Khan's book. The structure is elegant in poroportion and struck a chord with me. This single rendering is a reproduction of Le Corbusier's classic drawing from a slightly different angle intended to emphasize the building's symmetry.
